Most bilingual books print the same sentence twice. That is a reference format. It is not a reading experience — and a two-year-old can tell the difference.

The rhyme does the teaching

Our books are read in English, written in rhyme, and every rhyme lands on a Spanish word. Rhyme is how young children hold onto language. We put the Spanish word exactly where the memory hook already is. At the end of the line, where the ear is already waiting.

We are a family business, writing the books we wanted for our own bilingual baby. As a Spanish husband and English wife, we wanted to create a beautiful bilingual world of wonder to instil the love of language into young children.
